The Shape of Between (excerpt)
The work is based on 100 seconds of footage; four boats traversing the Ganges, slowed down and looped seamlessly backwards and forwards, while being digitally “anchored” around each boat in turn. The boats’ movement relative to one another drifts the composition around the screen, a continuous revisiting and repositioning of the subject.
