The adventures of the hand

According to Paul Virilio – a postmodern philosopher – in our world, modern technology becomes a prosthesis which prolongs our senses, especially the sense of sight. From a certain point on in my life, I had a feeling that I was experiencing life only through my computer screen, which became a cyber-prosthesis prolonging my sight and my eyes. In 2007-2008 during an art scholarship in England at Dartington College Of Arts, I stayed very close to nature. It helped me experience life in a different way. I made a short film about experiments with different forms of sensual feelings, coming closer to basic sensual, but non-erotic emotions. The music by my friend and an artist Bogusia Czech focuses on tribal and ritual sounds, which remind me of the the history of the mankind when people painted their bodies and stayed united with the nature. It is a journey, which helps us go deeper, closer to the world and ourselves.
