Smaragdis George

George Smaragdis is a filmmaker, computer graphics researcher, writer and musician currently living in Brooklyn, New York. Past projects include the animated short film Dia De Los Angelitos, as well as contributions to a music video for El-P featuring Trent Reznor, a trailer for the film Blood Trail, the independent film Blank, funded research for UC Davis, and several independent music releases. He holds an MFA in Digital Arts from the Pratt Institute and is currently working on his third film, Timepiece.
