Masa Jasbec

Masa Jazbec from Trbovlje, Slovenia graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Maribor with a diploma on Intermedia art. Currently living in Linz, where she is a student of master’s programme ‘Interface culture’ at University of Art and industrial design Linz, Austria. She is working mostly in the field of video and interactive installations. She is a founding member of art group V.A.T. (Visual Alternative Trbovlje) and is actively collaborating with Institution for culture Delavski dom Trbovlje in its project “Trbovlje New Media Setting” with her active participation in the implementation of art projects and events. She will be one of the curators of new media festival Speculum artium 2013. She is also collaborating with artistic collective Laibach from Slovenia. In November, she is going to take an art residency at institute for media arts and science IAMAS in Ogaki, Japan. She has participated with her works in many new media art festivals in Europe.
