“Elizabeth Sardari-Kermani (1984, b Sussex) is a half Persian UK Artist currently living in Sandnes, Norway. She received a BA (Hons) Fine Art at Birmingham City University in 2006 and a PostGraduate Diploma Fine Art from The University of Reading in 2008. Sardari-Kermani has exhibited in the Netherlands, Norway and throughout the United Kingdom. In her work Elizabeth Sardari-Kermani presents herself as a female subject in control of her image. Sardari-Kermani explores the boundary between the cinematic gaze and the artist’s identity, interacting as both the film maker and the subject. Her intention to force the viewer to become aware of their gaze, freeing them from deceptions. “
