Dojmi Andrea

Andrea Dojmi, videoartist, filmmaker, Rome, 1973. Graduate of contemporary communications and visual arts. Dojmi’s video-works are cinematic sequences around the youngs and the community, the individual identity and the religious experience. The themes, interweave, pervaded by a constant serenity that, at moments, reveals tragedy. The quality of these film-works, remind materials that inspired a whole adolescents-generation at the end of the 70’s like some international educational film-documentaries and TV video archives. Various situations are shown with the same innocent eyes of an individual but universal past, where truth seems to be caught in the deepest part of a simple message, like the quality of our vision in the first technological age and its move into our present.
