Cueto Gonzalo

Gonzalo Cueto. 1973 Chile. Master in Theory and Practice of Contemporary Visual Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid. It has recently been selected to exhibit his work in video art at Les Rencontres Internationales New cinema and contemporary art in Paris. He has also been invited to show their work in Screen Festival in Oslo, Norway. His work revolves around the creation and Audiovisual experimentation and direct action. Working the video essay as a comment on the symbolic and subjective context that unfolds through space and territory of hegemonic capitalism. He has done artist residencies in Argentina, Ecuador, Peru. He has also exhibited in various countries and received grants of artistic production by the government of Chile and Spain AECID.
