What the H2O gave me

The film consists of 14 short stories of dear friends whom I had long wished to dip in the water out of an intuitive curiosity. The stories are not autonomous in the sense that despite each person’s idiosyncratic use of their body, there is a common ground, that is, the same bathtub, a sort of common geographical point where the element of water, which possesses a significant potential on its own right, constitutes a common reference. After having researched this meeting point, we chose to use only one bathtub out of a strong desire to allow the body to make space, to alternate landscapes. As far as I am concerned, this short video film is a place where our every day lives are formed, where each one of us is detached from the roles one plays in their life. I have tried to record my friends without the interference of the certain mage they project, aiming to look into their hidden texts.
