The Canvas of Resonance

The Canvas of Resonance is a reexamination on the use of metal sheets, which were widely utilized by foley sound artists to produce thunder sound effects before the digital age. The Canvas of Resonance creates an experience from physical vibration into various sound composition. The imperfection, variation and errors become qualities of sound, which are transformed into a canvas of audio visual imagination beyond the range of vibration and resonances.
The sound pieces are composed by variating the power of the vibrating motors with a microcontroller.
