Syksylla (autumn)

Inspired by Stan Brakage’s Mothlight, and by autumn in Edinburgh, Syksylla contrasts the experience of watching a moving image piece in a gallery space, where one is aware of the filmmaker, with the experience of a piece evoking a place or time “elsewhere”: the “here” and “real” versus the “there” and “imagined”.
