Sweet Salvation

This short video is based on the documentation of a two-week long performance artist Jiawei Gong presented in 2007. The event carefully followed the Tibetan Buddhist tradition of the Mandala construction. However, here the color sand grains are replaced by sugar, and the Mandala symbol is reassembled with contemporary cultural icon.
