Suu a FUU

Suu A Fuu pastiches 1970’s cult films and 16mm color animation to create a haunting vision of pornographic affect and the mass production of desire. Stop-frame animation is altered digitally, outlining a cinematic field between stillness and motion, analog and digital processes, the visible and the erased. The ecstasy and horror of pornographic and slasher flicks is paired with surrealist color sequences and erratic movement, to create an elegy to cinematic psychedelia in the digital age.
