Stairs, Door, Floor
3 performances for the camera. (The 3 individual works are made 2003-2004) Stairs: A staircase space. A body appears in the image and explores the layers of the space. Door: The head becomes an object that meets another object carefully. There is an intense relationship between the performer and the camera. Floor: For 1 min. nothing is happening. Existence of natural sound. Suddenly a woman falls into the frame and immediately the film is over “Stairs” has been projected at the Central Space Gallery, London, 2004, and at the Candid Art’s Projection Room, London, 2004 “Floor” has been projected (looped) during student show, Kingston University, London (titled Post-Repulsion), 2004 “Door”, “Floor”, and “Stairs” have been shown in the short list of Ma applications at the Royal Academy Schools, London, 2005.
