“The Quasi-Objects cycle – a work in progress since 2003 – is composed of photos and videos generated with the assistance of 3D modeling, animation and rendering software. A practice of organic re-design that aims to stimulate thought and dialogue around the progressive relativisation of natural life forms as result of techno-biological evolution. Quasi-Objects concern data actualization, possibilities that may be intended as transient outputs of an operative practice, looking at the meaning of Life in terms of a real and autonomous process independent from any specific material manifestation. Quasi-Objects/Cinematic n.05 is the second video of the cycle.”
