Pillow Girl

Pillow Girl is a multi-media art piece by Colorado-based artist/musician/filmmaker Ronnie Cramer; it incorporates unique video imagery and experimental electronic music. The visual portion of the work features over two hundred lurid covers from vintage paperbacks and men’s magazines, with the illustrated figures coming to life and morphing from one to the next during the course of the presentation. The audio portion of the presentation was created by converting the image data (from the covers themselves) into electronic music by running the data signal through a variety of synthesizers and constantly changing the parameters.
