Oneiromancy

Oneiromancy is based on the belief that dreams are messages sent to our souls by Gods or death, most often as warnings. Dreams are mechanisms that inform and guide our feelings and emotions. Shortly, this theory maintains that dreams are a way for us to express our desires and fears that, for whatever reason, need to be expressed but are not expressed when awake. Why should the brain terrify its owner by repeating horrifying memories during sleep? Maybe we have anxieties or desires that only our dreams can reveal.
