Movement Traces

Movement traces is an effort of depicting the space that is created by the movement of a dancer. Using Motion Capture technology, I collected movement data from Augmentation Canon, an excerpt from Trisha Brown’s M.O. .I animated the dancer’s trajectories giving form to the lines, surfaces, volumes, and shapes that are created by dancer’s movements, and I worked towards the creation of a 3d animated sculpture that resembles a cloud.
