Misere

The video “Misere” was made from movie “La passion de Jeanne d’Arc” and performance “Ma Longue Misere” during the project “Terrorism work in progress” at Students Cultural Center, Belgrade. Both the performance and the video that came afterwards, are connected to the aggressive side of the religion and how many bad things happened in the name of God’s love. The destiny of Joan of Arc is the part of western; Christian, civilization, but we can find the examples in any other religion in every part of the world. While I was bleeding over the cross with which I have cut the palms of my hands, I realized that each cut on my skin has become the clear attitude and each drop of my blood has become the symbol of it.
