Hug Hang Hunger

In this video, my idea was to create an ambiguous image. I wanted to choreograph a battle-hug between a man and a woman. A hug that for one moment is sensitive and tender, and next one is violent and hard. I was thinking of two flowers that grow, two fragile flowers that keep each other erect, strong and whole. I wanted to show the important need of the other in your development. The egoism that the lovers feel and the stupid certainty of yourself that tries to convince you that you don’t need the other. I wanted to talk about love and companionship as one, the difficulty of love and care. The paused sound creates the feeling of the endless act. Like an alarm that make you sure about the danger of following and stopping the act.
