Close Your Eyes

“Close Your Eyes” is a single-channel video piece to be seen with closed eyes. By converting the eyelids into an internal projection screen, this piece questions the very act of “seeing.” Drawing on ideas from color theory and consciousness studies. The piece explores the juxtaposition between light and darkness to discover the way one perceives, simultaneously, internal and external phenomena.
