Statuettes of clay, caricatures of specifically chosen physiognomies, are introducing themselves, having as background the well-known bar code. They are emerging through a diversity of fingerprints in order to host eventually the face of the artist who, through a particularly chosen though constant transformation, seeks constantly an identity ending up an imprisoned object itself into the bar code. Conclusively, he metamorphoses into a scream while he disappears leaving at the place of photograph of the well-known public document the bar code, as he is just a product for consumption. The “Imprint of the right forefinger” would be considered as the beginning of a discourse analysis in regard to the question: Which is the relation between resemblance and identity?
