A bit Of Dirt

In the Project Space: Freight +Volume Gallery is pleased to present our first exhibition by Brooklyn-based artist Erik Moskowitz. “Erik Moskowitz: A Bit of Dirt,” features an operatic new video installation based on avant-garde Polish writer Stanislaw Ignacy Witkiewicz’s Insatiability. Witikiewicz was a radical critic of bourgeois society [and of what he considered the root cause of its pervasive dehumanization: capitalism.] His 1930 novel paints a land bereft of values where all news is suspect and distrust of government is rampant.
