Werblud Debra

Debra Werblund, born in New York, has resided in Italy since 1982. She received her B.A. cum laude in Anthropology with majors Anthropology-Archaeology and Design of the Environment. From 1986 through 1996, she partnered in an art, architecture, and urban design consultancy firm, focusing her art and theory skills on creating comprehensive conceptual design schemes. In 1994, she turned the focus of her artistic production to the use of light-based printing technologies from silkscreen to laser-cut stencils to, most recently, motion graphic video.
