Vinebaum Lisa

Lisa Vinebaum-BFA Concordia University, Montreal, 2001- MA Visual Art Textiles, Goldsmiths College, 2003 – Lives and works in London, UK. Lisa Vinebaum is a PhD candidate in Fine Art at Goldsmiths College, University of London, where she is a part time lecturer in Visual Art. She is an interdisciplinary artist who uses vido, performance, digital imaging, and installation to explore themes of gender, cultural identity and subjectivity. Her current research and practice are concerned with the production and dissemination of images in the context of the war on terror, the occupation of Iraq, and the Israeli-Palestinian crisis. She has exhibited her work in North America, Europe, and Asia, and on the Web.
