Theodoropoulou Sofia

Sofia Thedoropoulou was born in Athens. She was studying at the Dance School of Nana Kandyli until 1999. In 2002, she graduated from the professional Dance School of Morianova-Trasta as a dance professor. In 2003, she studied at the Birkbeck College-University of London from where she graduated with a Diploma in Performance Studies-Dance. In 2005, she obtained the MA Choreography at Middlesex University in London. She has participated in various dance seminars in Greece, as well as abroad (with Trisha Brown, Russell Maliphant, Rosemary Lee, Siobhan Davies, Athina Vahla, Aryeh Wainer and others). She has also danced in many performances in Athens and London, while she has choreographed three completed works, entitled “one & the same” (videodance and live performance), “mooneye” and “Without any Sense..?” as her last work.
