As a child I wanted to become a writer, I loved to make up stories. Later,at the school for social studies, I discovered the videocamera and how to tell stories with images. After the school for social studies I went to a physical theater school to learn how to tell stories with the body. When I graduated, I started making videostories where I combined performance aspects with other images and often I incorporated text/poetry. In 2006/2007 I did a course in tabletop animation to be able to also work with animated images in my stories. Sound is a very important ingredient in my work, without it there is a ligament missing. The stories I create are fictional but the essence of them comes from observing our society today.
