Paiva Margaridas

Born 1975 in Coimbra, Portugal. Lives and works in Oslo. My video works are abstract stories, built on fragmented images and words. I deconstruct stories to collect the fragments and create new plots. The characters in these stories are usually women, and the themes include often an element of anxiety and loneliness. I explore inner states of mind using a temporality of affects, thoughts and memories.
