Melanie Beisswenger

Melanie Beisswenger is a German born director, animator and animation teacher. Melanie studied animation at the Institute of Animation at Filmakademie Baden-Worttemberg in Germany, and went on to work on a wide range of projects from 3D character animation on international feature films and TV commercials to TV show animation supervision. Her animation credits include the Academy Award winning feature film “Happy Feet”, the stereoscopic 3D animated feature “Fly Me to the Moon” and the TV launch commercial for the blockbuster game “BioShock”. After a few years as Professor at the School of Art, Design and Media, NTU in Singapore, Melanie is now back in feature animation production on Happy Feet 2.
