Lauber

Franziska Lauber works with video and room-installations. In her work, she questions the relationship and power structures from humans towards non-human animals in different fields. Her leading questions are: How are particular ideas of nature and culture projected onto interspecies relationships? How do humans experience empathy towards animals? Franziska has studied Fine Arts at the University of the Arts Berne and got her Master of Arts in Public Spheres at ECAV Sierre in Switzerland. Since 2004, she has participated in group exhibitions and experimental film festivals. Also, in 2004, she did a solo exhibition entitled art-room at Kunstkeller Bern in Switzerland. Moreover, Franziska has done video productions and received grants and prices. She currently lives and works near Berne in Switzerland.
