Dimitris Theodoropoulos

Dimitris Theodoropoulos, director of photography, ass. Professor, cinematography chair, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Faculty of Arts, Film Studies. Studied cinematography at the American Film Intitute (Fulbright-scholarship). Recent collaborations include the features Canteen, Heart of the beast, Small revolts; the shorts Offered boy, Marionette, Happy life, Dry cleaning, One moment please; the documentaries Alive at Kyttaro, Play it again Christos, Altamoura, Nico Koyndoyros-Odysseys. Other activities include, lighting design for the stage, architectural lighting, as well as cinematography on numerous tv series, commercials, music videos. Author of a book on cinematography, To phos ston elliniko kinimatographo/The light on Greek cinema, Aigokeros, 2009.
