Cozzarini Valeria

In 2006 Valeria Cozzarini graduated from the Fine Art College in Venice, Painting department. “Maschera da Viaggio” is her first short film, made in the stop-motion technique. She then took part as animator in “Due Storie Vere”, a short film project, commissioned by the Social Council of Pordenone, in the North of Italy. As a result of A(irpo)RT – artist in residence program in the south of Germany, she produced “Stay or Go, Work”. In 2008 she takes part of the European Animation Masterclass in Halle (Saale), Germany, realising her “Via Molini 79b”. In 2009 she is one of Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa artists in residence, and develops several artistic projects. Among all, in 2010 she created a one week multimedia performance in the Exchange Gallery, Newlyn, UK. “Spaces of Solitude” has been produced at ZKM | Zentrum fuer Kunst und Medientechnologie (Center for Art and Media) in Karlsruhe (Germany), where she worked in the Institute for Visual Media from february to july 2011. She currently lives and works in Venice.
