Chun Janice

Janice developed an animated passion for nature while growing up in the sunny bubble of Irvine, CA. Inspired by everything from hiking, nature, the cosmos, and her staggering obsession with Calvin and Hobbes, Janice’s work explores the relatable humor and tragedy of everyday life and love. In addition to escorting banana peels into the garbage can during a stint as a movie theater custodian, Janice has also had a host of rewarding professional experiences through studio and freelance animation work. You’ll usually find her playing volleyball, spinning discs for the radio station at Brown University, destroying 8-bit villains with her merciless joystick, or strumming peacefully away at her guitar.
