Charlotte Eifler & Thomas Mader

Charlotte Ei er is a video artist, based in Leipzig/Berlin. She studied EXPANDED CINEMA with Clemens von Wedemeyer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Leipzig. Her work deals with feminist and postcolonial critique of representation and often embeds Science Fiction elements. Selected exhibitions and screenings at: Folkwang Museum Essen, DNA Galerie Berlin, Grassi Museum Leipzig, GfzK Leipzig, Dokfest Kassel, FFT Düsseldorf, Literaturmuseum Tblisi, Etashi St. Petersburg, Siggraph Congress Los Angeles. Thomas Mader is a multimedia artist and studied with Thomas Zipp at the University of the Arts in Berlin. In his works, he deals with questions of nationhood and national identity. Selected exhibitions have been held at: GFZK/Leipzig, Instituto Tomie Ohtake/São Paulo, SAVAC/Toronto, NGBK/Berlin, Bus Projects/Melbourne. Thomas Mader lives and works in Berlin. He employs di erent medias to research questions of national identity, communication and storytelling.
