Borris Labbe

Boris Labbe [1987, France] graduated from the School of Art and Ceramics of Tarbes in 2008, and at the Animation Film School of Angouleme (EMCA) in 2011. Later he studied and researched on processes of digital creation to improve his artistic practice. Conceptually, he is interested in the problems of perception, persistence of the retina, of interdependence of the movement, polyrhythmic sound. His works are animations in 2D and 3D, in which he uses different graphic techniques of drawing, scanning of images, sketchbooks, travel sketchbooks, graffiti, etc., modeling and vector layout with specific software. He was artist in residence of Casa de Velαzquez – Academie de France in Madrid for one year in 2011/2012.
