Bernhard Loibner

Lives as a composer of electronic music, musician and media artist in Vienna, Austria. His work centers on creating (and performing) experimental electronic sound and music and has been presented in concerts, performances & screenings all over the world. Besides live concerts on a regular basis, his work does include compositions for contemporary theatre and dance as well as video, film and radio. Recently, he has extended his work into a new domain by creating audio-visual pieces. Collaborations include the sound/video/voice duo “Nerve Theory” with US video artist Tom Sherman, music for films by Austrian director Mara Mattuschka or the performance extravaganza of the French collective SUPERAMAS. His music has been released on CD and DVD and he appeared at numerous Festivals (e.g. Ars Electronica Linz, Elektra Montreal, Suttgarter Filmwinter, ZAC 99 Paris, Cybersonica London, Arsonica Seville, Generator Vienna, Unsound Krakow). Concerts and performances took place in various countries such as Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, England, France, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain and the USA.
