Berdugo Liat

Liat Berdugo is an American artist and writer whose focuses on using the digital landscape to bridge the boundaries between science and art, and between the everyday object and the technological device. Berdugo was selected to participate in the first ever Literary In(ter)ventions residency at the Banff Centre for the Arts in February 2011. Her work has been shown at conferences in the U.S. and in Canada, including at &Now 2011: Tomorrowland Forever!, and in galleries nationally. She also runs a nomadic gallery in Providence, RI, that focuses on new media art. Berdugo designed user experiences in start-ups in Silicon Valley before returning to school to pursue her M.F.A. in Digital and Media Arts at RISD. She lives and works in Providence, RI.
