Asterios Alexandrou

I was born in Athens in 1984 , did my university studies in Ioannina , at the troubled Department of Plastic Arts and Art Sciences . Later on, I moved on to Barcelona (Spain , not Colombia) , where I did a Master in Animation, at the University Pompeu Fabra. Since then, I have been working as an animator and Illustrator on various projects. My personal work is more focused on puppet animation, though I am interested in 3d and new tendencies as well . I believe that now, when the means of creativity are in our hands more than ever, artists should promote independent animation and small but truly competitive productions!
