Agullo Diego

Diegonante, graduated in Philosophy. He is since 2005 based in Berlin crossing the fields of video, dance and music. In 2008, he won the Matadero Madrid Contemporary Creation Grants with his interdisciplinary project called CUE, www.cue-ifyouneed.org. Currently divides his time working between Amsterdam and Berlin, in collaboration with the SNDO (The School for New Dance Development), developing research projects with Ibrahim Quraishi, Gabriel Smeets, Nora Heilmann, Ria Higler and Violetta Perra, performing in international festivals like iDANCE in Istanbul, Something Raw Frascatti in Amsterdam, Biennale in Bonn, Plateaux Festival in Frankfurt, Context 7 HAU Berlin, Baltic Biennale Vilnius, Unidram Potsdam. Creative Residencies at the Frascatti Theater in Amsterdam, Palucca Schule Dresden, Barker Theatre in Turku, Mousonturm in Frankfurt. In Berlin he works with Yuko Kaseki and Kazue Ikeda in DOCK11, Anja Mόller and Robert Steijn in Dancing Bodies and travelling minds, film with Meg Stuart. During the 2007 his Bridges Video Series with Todd Ford in Berlin was featured in the 57 Berlinale Filmfestspiele, Panorama section 2007, with Osamu Uehara in New York which was featured in MONA Detroit and in DTW New York. Experimenta Club Casa Encendida Madrid, Videodance 2007, Thessaloniki International Film Festival. He works also as a teacher at the Fine Arts University of Valencia teaching the workshop ‘Sceneries of the daily life’.
